Does anyone know where the name "Andre's Knob" came from? I have always assumed that it must be some random reference to something that happened there many years ago, but looking at a photo from www.berg.co.za (see below), I am starting to wonder if its name is specific to its shape...

Ja I've had some good chuckles with people about that one. No idea who named it that, and if Andre had anything to do with it. It is possible that at the time, the word "knob" didn't have the connotation it does today, in which case it was innocently named that. But then again, maybe not...
