Is it safe to leave your car at Sentinel Car Park overnight? Has anyone here ever done this?

Many times. Most recent was July this year, on a weekend. Never had any issues... have you heard any stories of theft, or is it just a precautionary enquiry?

I've also never had or heard of any problems. Do yourself a favour and stay in the hut there - best deal in the Berg @ R15 per night!

Yup, agree with Stijn, the hut is good value for money!

I have not heard of any problems at the car park either, and have left cars there on many occasions. It is fenced off and locked at night. A gaurd is usually stationed there 24 hours (though I've heard the occasional story where people did not find the guard there).

@stijn: Thanks, will certainly do so! Cheaper to stay in a furnished hut than managing your own accommodation in the wild lol!!

@intrepid: Sorry for my non-participation in the site testing I could say the past month was hectic, but that is no excuse to spare 15 mins every second day, so neglect and laziness on my part would be the main cause.
