Which is the more enjoyable of the two? Outeniqua being 7days and 105kms; Tsitsikamma considerably shorter at 6 days and 63kms, but which really has the best scenery and facilities?

I last did both trails some years ago. The Outeniqua Trail used to be the magnificent "killer trail", but has since been drastically shortened and most of the best sections (first few days) removed. It is now largely confined to tracks and roads in forest and is no longer worth doing.
The Tsitsikamma trail now has a slack-packing option, but is probably largely unaltered except for a serious pine tree infestation. It remains worthwhile doing, and is probably still one of our better trails.
