Off to the Berg tomorrow! 07 Jul 2010 11:44 #1438

Hey guys

Just thought I'd get a gloat in - heading to Sentinel Car Park tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully Angus-Leppan on Friday, followed by a 4-day traverse to Cathedral Peak (Stimela, Ledger's, Twins, Bell Traverse)

I take it the snowfall has melted by now? Looks like there's a bit of precipitation predicted for Sunday night...

Anyone else heading out this weekend?

Hey Stijn, climb safe and enjoy, nice trip ahead of you! I got back last night from 4 days in the Giant's area. The days were generally lovely, warm, sunny and clear (as far as winter goes). The nights were well below freezing, all water going solid and thick frost. I measured -15 deg C on my little thermometer but I think that's a little off. Well into the minuses definitely though. Almost no snow currently - see my update on the Snow Watch thread.
