Thanks for all the usefull information on the site.Only one problem .The G6 to Corner pass GPS track.If it displays correctly on Google earth.I believe it does because I saw two people taking this route and could not make much sense of where they were going.You do mention variations but this track is peculiar.It makes no sense to climb out of the valley on the right just past Fergy's cave unless you are training for the Iron man competition or something.You have to come down to the river valley again. Just cross the stream just past Fergy's and continue on the left bank up to where the valley splits.Cross again and take the right split for about 100m.Cross the tribituary stream left and then start the "killer climb!"

Hi Injasuthi. I think sticking to the river after Fergy's Cave is probably the more official route, I'll GPS this when I'm out there again. Indeed the climb up out of the valley just after the cave is a little steep, but it is short lived and then simply contours along the valley. You do loose a little bit of altitude just before the stream-crossing after which the killer climb starts, but its not too bad. The advantage with the higher route is less river crossings.
