My bigger concern with mountain registers is how often other people add their names to my entry. Earlier this year I lead a 4 day MCSA hike at Giants and when I got back there were some extra names at the bottom and they had signed to say they're back. This has happened to me many times. Either they get back first and effectively sign me back in, or I get back first and effectively sign them back in - either way, this defeats the point of the register.

Henceforth I'll be scratching out the blank space below my party's names in the register

Interesting chat on the mtn register.
Maybe someone with admin rights could shift the relevant posts onto a register thread?

My issues with the registers are:
- I have encountered several times at mostly Injasuthi and Setinel that the register is either not accessible to sign on or out OR have been removed, is no longer available.
- When you don't sign back in eg. you traversed and is exiting elsewhere, or the register is no accessible (office locked after hours etc.) no action or attempt is made to make contact to check on situation and whereabouts.
