A Sale Warning to members of VE....When purchasing tents from Cape Union Mart please ask if they sell tent pole replacements!! I purchased a tent at Cape Union Mart and all the tent poles got damaged in a high wind in the Drakensberg recently. They told me that they do not stock tent pole replacements!!! Why buy a tent if tent pole replacements are not available. So now I must scrap the tent and buy a tent from a different supplier (Bush & Bundu, Pietermaritzburg) who carry tent pole replacements. I learnt the hard way and will never purchase anything again at Cape Union Mart. Sorry Cape Union Mart, but you let me down as I need a tent for the following week end.

Thanks, careful ordering the gloves online. I tried some recently and although I usually fit size large I needed XL... Tnf sizes seem slightly smaller than BD for example

Just check the prices of the products to local stores and local products. Just because a sleeping bag is down from R7'500 to R4'000 doesn't mean it is a good deal, it only means it is reduced from ridiculous to normal.
