Hi
I will be visiting giants castle in a few
weeks. I have done Bannermans
pass return in 1 day. Would it be possible to complete Giant’s castle peak in a day?
thanks

Definitely possible.... getting up Giants Pass is quite comparable to Bannerman pass, in terms of distance and elevation gain.
Going up the peak itself is another 3km and 200m vert, it doesn't sound too bad but is quite a slog, and without any proper trail to follow

It will be about 35km in total, so all depends on your, or the groups fitness

Hi,

Yes........and No :-)

How long is a piece of string?

If you're fit and strong and the weather is ok then yes. Like Smurfatefrog says, it's a bit of a slog but entirely doable.
If the snow is a meter deep then I suspect the answer will be no.

Enjoy the challenge!!!
