Good day all
How is the current condition of the road to Injisuthi? It was very bad and I stopped hiking there years ago. Want to find out if there has been an upgrade?
Thank you.

A friend was there last weekend and said there are many potholes and some dongas, but it was quite doable at a slow speed in a little Fiat Punto.

I was there 3 weeks ago. The 30kms from the main road to Injasuti took 90 minutes. The cattle bridge was removed but replaced when we left. Try to make the trip while yo have sufficient light. I would recommend a 4x4.

Was there now in a Ford Figo and was fine, keeping it slow. Didn't hit rock-bottom once, but was a bit close in places.

As @MikeCross says, but I'll add that the tarred section approaching the cattle grate at the top of the hill is worse than the road thereafter.
When we left on Sunday 7th April there was a rather sad scene of a cow with it's hoof in the grate bellowing.
