This is the thread for the next round of photo competitions. The theme is Perspectives on a Peak, and for this round it is all about Cathedral Peak. Entries should be photos that present interesting and artistic angles on Cathedral Peak.

Photos should be uploaded to the following album:

Guidelines for the competition:
* Give your entry a creative title which adds to the appeal of the image.
* When you have uploaded your entry, post a downscaled copy of your image to this thread, together with your title, and a link to the image, as well as a description of where the shot was taken from, and the story behind the photograph.
* Photos do not need to be limited to the actual time period for this round.
* One entry per member.
* Closing date for entries: 31 March 2015
* Winner announcement date: 12 April 2015

Theme plan for 2015:

Mike's Cathedral:

So we have a view looking north, south and west. Who is taking the escarpment angle looking east?

That was a good hike, I wasn't very strong that day, but still a good day on the mountain!

Looking to the cathedral range from the castle buttress at cleft peak. I had a similar photo taken earlier with the orange sunrise but decided on this as it shows the ruggedness of the range much better

Taken while ascending Organ Pipes Pass in July 2014. Although the sun was shining, there was an icy breeze blowing and we even had a bit of snow falling as we settled into Roland's Cave that evening.
