US prices always exclude tax.
Problem when shipping USPS is that it is handed off to SAPS and if anything gets lost they blame each other and guess who gets screwed. But the private carriers (Fedex etc) are hell expensive and they must be paid to clear customs.
US prices tend to be cheaper than Europe but then Europe has tax included.
