MCC website was created by intrepid
The website for the Mnweni Cultural Centre, www.mwenicc.co.za seems to have shut down and the domain name de-registered. This is a sad. Anyone know if they will start a new one, of if any other "official" site exists for them?
Take nothing but litter, leave nothing but a cleaner Drakensberg.

actually I was also battling to find info online for the Mweni centre last few weeks.

I had some old hiking gear to donate to the Guide Programme they run.

But I eventually managed to get hold of a PMB based hiker who collects and manages regular donations to them.

Perhaps contact the Drakensberg Tourism Association:

This is good news. The centre is a bastion of hope that there is such a thing as sustainable eco-tourism at work. Having stayed there on two occasions, I can't say enough what a pleasure it was and how friendly the staff were.
