This is a very nice 8.2 Km round trip hike to the top of platberg. (+- 3 hours walk )

Park your car at about 1900m altitude and this is the route start, the pass goes up to 2400m to the weather station over a 4.1km stretch and is rewarded with beautiful views.

Quite a steep walk but nothing serious, plenty of water on the route. 1L water bottle will suffice.
