Who on the forum is sponsored? Who sponsors you? What do they sponsor you and how did you get sponsored?
Just for curiosity sake

As much as I enter basically every competition that Cape Union Mart has (I am hoping to win their Movember one now - insert a smilie with a mustache here :{) ), I am very much self sponsored... Although whats nice is if you start up a school hiking club, they school tends to pay for your trip (and EKZN has a policy that certain school day hikes don't have to pay the day permit fee - yay you save R25, how significant), although you'll only be doing easy day hikes (and every such trip I have ever arranged got canceled with very short notice)...

A friend of mine is the Headmaster at Underberg Primary, and each year their grade 6 or 7 class does Rhino. So I'm hoping that next year I get to guide them, I was offered this year but couldn't get off work so soon. And all I have to pay for is fuel! Bonus! So I'm holding thumbs for that. Other than that a sponsor would be amazing, just for gear, like a nice Deuter backpack, just a hint. Hehe

I think K2 would be more of a personal challenge, cause people will be all like "oh its dangerous, but its not the highest".

It could well belong to the "Naked Mountain", I know its often known as K1, I believe that less than 300 people have climbed K2, and if I'm correct less than 100 have successfully done Nanga Parbat, compared to around 3000 on Everest...
