In an effort to fight crime and raise awareness 5 ladies aim to climb 5 Drakensberg peaks in 5 days. Vivien Laverge, Michelle Holiday, Lorraine Dalton, Belinda van der Riet and Lee Hollington will climb Cathedral Peak, Outer Horn, The Mitre, The Cockade, and Cleft Peak in October.
This excellent initiative is aimed at raising an awareness of crime, especially in view of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Fund raising is also being done for the 2Simple Trust Fund (towards developing and maintaining computers in underdeveloped schools), and for the Fitness for Africa sports clinic (towards setting up facilities in underdeveloped areas).
