Rathole Cave

I should have read this threat before I went looking for Fangs Cave in April. I could not find it but suspect I did not go up high enough in the gully. We ended up sleeping in Rathole Cave. It protected 2 of us from the strong cold wind but was a bit too narrow and low for my liking. The photo is of Rathole Cave.

Looking at your pic - Is that Ice? In October? Wow, even smaller when there's ice!

I used Rathole in a drenching summer storm last year. Skylight (open to the sky) was flooded. I was very grateful to get a dry place to sleep. Slept as close to the entrance as I could. The spiders were gone. Someone insect bomb the cave?
