The other statistic that amuses me is how this site consistently features in Google search results for the word "dagga". For example, from one of the latest reports, Oct 14 - Nov 13, the word "dagga plant" made 700 impressions in Google search results linked to this site, which resulted in 22 clicks!
See Chris now you know how VE gets new members
On a serious note, It really is great to see the passion and in many cases the addiction of members to the Berg. Well done to everyone that picked up rubbish and hacked down invasive trees in the Berg this year. And a super pat-on-the-back for you Chris I know I speak for all when I say we really appreciate it!

I have been on 16 hikes totalling 38 days this year - with one of them being non Berg - (Amatola trail near Hogsback)

Afraid I have to fess up for this one Intrepid. I had a look back on the forum and it's no coincidence my Dagga Planters Cave thread went out on 13 October!
Cmon mnt_tiska and Stijn, there must be some sort of humourous misguided recruitment nomination there.

A funny coincidence as i was reading this thread and got to the end i obviously read intrepid's interesting google stats.
then i went to the top of the page and in the pics over the top was one labelled "dagga plant"

Award for the most impressive 2011 hiking record goes to: Elinda
I have to say that I have really enjoyed reading Elinda's write ups on hikes, so often ladies tell me that "hiking is for guys only", so its nice to be able to inform them of Elinda's rock climbing adventures...

Lol - looking over this thread from last year, so I was on 371 at the time and this is post no 1001, so that's 630 posts in the year, and I thought I had cut down this year...
