Automated emails from VE tagged as spam in Gmail

Please take note that roughly over the last 2 weeks Gmail's spam filter seem to have become more stringent, resulting in automated system emails from this site being marked as spam and landing up in the spam folder. This means for example that you may not be getting emails when you receive a PM, or if you have subscribed to a thread. I have also dealt with several cases lately where new registrations where not getting the activation link because of this.

If you are using Gmail, please check that emails from VE are not landing up in your spam folder, and mark them as "not spam" if they are. Please see the following link for more details on the solution:
