Shocked! Just moments before reading this news I have sent an email to Tony thanking him for the tracks and all the advice he gave me for my solo hike from Injasuthi to Bushman's Nek over the long weekend. Without him, this would not have been possible.

Please send Tony my best wishes along with everybody else's. Is there a way to send him something, like a snack parcel, in hospital?
Without Tony's help and tracks I would have had to abandon a 4 day hike in December at the start of the second day. Due to his track we could find our way through the fog to the overnight spot.
