Hey everyone
I'm looking for a climbing partner for the berg, and other regions. My usual partner in crime has managed to get himself so busy that climbing trips have become something of a rarity. So at the risk of this sounding like the newspaper classifieds, here's some info!!
Desperately seeking climbing partner:
- Preferably with Drakensberg climbing experience, or at least just some climbing experience.
- Be easy going type.
- Other than that, I don't really care!
My vital stats:
- Age 34 and starting to lose my hair.
- Smoke, drink, swear, un-pc.
- Climbing on and off for 13 years in SA and overseas, over 40 different technical berg climbs,so the experience is there if that's what you need.
- Become a bit unfit, but the more we climb the more I'll get back into it!
- My climbing nerve went the same way as my fitness, but as above, it should quickly come back.
- Self- employed, so can be fairly flexible for trips.
- Live in Randburg, JHB, so will also be cool, but not essential, if you stay around here for climbing in Magaliesberg etc.
- Don't like big crowds. Or R&B music.
Just thought I would chuck some info out there so I don't waste your time
Thanks for reading my drivel, hopefully there's someone else out there as desperate as me!
Cheers
Jackson

@Intrepid...weeeeeell I didn't want to say anything about your smelly shoes on a public forum... No man, just seems like you were pretty busy with other things, and thought(?) you were off overseas soon?
I'm still as keen as anything if you up for it. Viking has got me thinking of some mischievous plans...

Opposed to hiking in with climbing gear but not actually climbing anything?

My best foot forward for climbing this year is that I recovered a rope off Thumb in July.
Hoping to get up the Mnweni Pinnacles next Easter
