Hahaha.
I definitely suffer from GAS, although recently most of my new acquisitions are lightweight items (to replace heavier things I aleady have).

I don't have this one as severely as I used to. I just need some quickdraws, nuts, hexes, cams, a few ropes and maybe new climbing shoes and I will be set. Oh yes, I also need new hiking boots and a day pack for hiking with...
I haven't visited a Cape Union Mart or Trappers shop in over a month.
Ok fine, I'll admit it. On Friday I bought a sling, locking carabiner and some accessory chord. But that was at Bush 'n Bundu, not CUM or Trappers...
Lol - reminds me of an old climbing quote, a lead climber shouted to their belayer "I don't have any friends and my nuts are too small" - the belayer promptly packed up laughing!
For the non-climbers out there, a "nut" is a wedge shaped metal thing you shove into narrow cracks to secure your rope to, a friend is also known as an SLCD or cam - they have big springs on them and are often used on wider cracks.
