Re-downing a sleeping bag? was created by Stretch
Hi all
I have a hike planned in July and was contemplating the warmth of my now almost 30 year old down sleeping bag. Still works like a bomb, but its been a while since i tested it mid-winter on the top of the drakensberg in a cave! someone mentioned the option of re-downing which I had never thought of. Anyone had any success with this and if so where from in KZN? interested to hear the comments

I was literally just looking at their price list right now and came back and saw you posted the link!
R220 to clean
R1095 to remake with new casing.
Not sure i need new casing...but will definitely give them a call and discuss

Speak to a guy by the name of Celistin Du Bruyn there... I met him at the Royal Show the other day, very helpful and interested in hiking...
