Are you asking about just the bag itself or a bag with liner and jackets etc?

Hi Durbanguy,
-8DegC on the Fish river trail (out in the open) and in the Kgalakgadi (in a rooftop tent).
No liners, just the bag but with Merino long pants and top, with a thick neck fleece and wool beanie.
For both these trips my son (then 12 years old) didn't complain about the cold. I was in my regular berg sleepingbag (TNF Blue Kazoo) which was also rated for about the same temp and I was also fine.

Maybe I should add that this bag was probably about 10 years old at that stage, and used a couple of times every year. By now it's over 20 years old and mainly used for winter camping trips. I can't confirm if the current bags are made to the same standard though.
If you are interested, I have a spare Ice breaker (long) for sale. Unused and unopened.
