Has anyone done Seweweekspoort Peak before? I have done a google search on it, got nothing useful, checked GE and found there is a road called Seweweekspoort Pass which at its closest is 3km from the summit, 1.5km in altitude below the summit - sounds like a monster climb!
Its part of the 9 summits hike, so I am looking for the quickest route to the top...
Any help would be good...

The easiest route starts at one of the farms near this location: 33°22'7.82"S 21°21'21.44"E I don't have the contact details but you could possibly contact the relevant MCSA section.
Then you find your way up the Northern slopes of the peak - any route will do as these slopes are far less precipitous than the cliffs descending to the pass and to the South. From the farm, it's a 3-4km hike to the saddle directly West of the peak and then you follow the ridge to the top. 1200m ascent total.
The peak is the one on the far horizon in this photo (taken from near Towerkop to the West):
Try not to get stuck in a blizzard (this was September):
This photo shows the slopes you would take to the top - bushy but gentle. The farm is visible in the distance:

That looks so awesome, thanks for the details
If I am correct the left side of the photo is the north/Great Karoo side, the right is the Klein Karoo side?

Thanks Plouw, the first site wasn't much use, but the second one was a great help.
