Cederberg (Western Cape) Overnight Hiking

I just did a full hiking traverse of the Cederberg range from Pakhuis Pass in the north down to Suikerbossie Farm in the south. 130km over 8 days, the first 4 days of which I was completely solo. This is such a wild place that I didn't see another soul during that time... bliss! Then Fran and some friends joined me for the weekend section from Algeria to Sanddrif and Tanya stayed on for the last 2 days past Luna/Apollo peaks and along the Sandfontein Ridge - it's a rarely explored part of the Cederberg and was personally a highlight for me, with relatively easy off-trail hiking and plenty of options to explore all the crazy rock formations, passages and tunnels. It's been ages since I did a properly long hike like this and I really enjoyed immersing myself in the wilderness and embracing slow :-)

I've put together a short video here:

What an amazing area the Cederberg is!  I stayed at Sanddrif some years ago and did a big loop that took in the Wolfberg Arch and Cracks as a day hike.  The rock formations are amazing and this place should be on everybody's to do list.  Thanks for sharing Stijn  - I really enjoyed the video!

Hello all
I want to do a 5 day hike, definitely including Wolfberg, Spout Cave and Tafelberg. But it seems as if all of this only takes up 4 days. Any advise to lengthen my duration? Any other route suggestion will also be appreciated.
