After just having read Joe Simpson's Dark Shadows Falling again (for the umpteenth time), and having wondered about how I would have responded to the situation faced by Ronald Naar on Everest in '92, when he made a descision to zip his tent up on a dying man, it appears that he may have had to face those demons himself.
Ronald Naar passed away on May 22 2011, at 8000 feet on Cho Oyu.
Not from accident, but rather unexplained causes.
The same mountain that 'almost' took Joe Simpsons life (again!)

Interesting. That Everest controversy certainly dogged him to the end, even in the media reports.
