I remember following the incident in the nepalese media at the time. It was a controversial incident that was disputed by everestnews.com (a major Everest news site) and I think there was also an issue about whether they had obtained and paid for the proper permissions from the government. It disappeared off the media and I don't think I ever heard about it again till now. Interesting event, wonder what has become of it.

From the video it is hard to establish if it was the summit of Everest that he landed on. However the peak he was flying toward before touch-down certainly looked like Everest.
