Hi All,
Found this interesting website by Ellis J. Stewart, we can follow his progress with regular updates. Pretty much a normal bloke without the loads of cash normally required to complete the trek/summit.

"Hi my name is Ellis. Thanks for stopping by my site. I am from Hartlepool in Teesside. This website is about my dream to stand on the roof of the world. Don’t be fooled into thinking I am a full time adventurer. I am not. I am just your typical average everyday guy, but with a life dream of reaching the summit of Mount Everest. This is a life dream that is 20 years in the making. I am not a famous or sponsored climber who gets plenty of publicity but just a regular chap, who has a full time career, a full time family and who wants to climb Everest for the passion, enthusiasm and absolute love of the mountain."
Personally I'm a tad bit jealous!!!
...but he is making his dream a reality and is certainly thinking outside the box. I hope he makes it!!!
