Just an opportunity I have :)

I have been able to put together something diffrent as per the Himalayas trekking ... a trip into the wilder area of Himalayas - Dhaulagiri.
I have been able to get this sorted and at a very reasonable cost as these things go, but am short of two people. Dates proposed for Dhaulagiri. leaving on 19/20th October to return around 9th November. Maybe there is someone who would be interested. Please let me know... would be great to take this forward. I can email all details to those interested. My email contact is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., please email asp. if interested in participating. I have attached a pic of where where Dhaulagiri approximately it is.

A summery of the Dhaulagiri trip info - This particular area has been closed to visitors for a long time for a variety of reasons - including its remoteness. Then, the region west and north of Dhaulagiri was opened to trekkers travelling in organized groups, making it possible for trekkers to go behind and north of the Dhaulagiri massif [8 167m, on border with Tibet (china)], to explore the remote villages and valleys, which had been the sole domain of mountaineers. It is a strenuous trek through some very remote regions. This is a high altitude trek up to 5 400m. The trek rating is difficult as you will endure some long and tiring trekking days at high altitude. Snow and ice will be encountered, and the possibility of needing ice axes & crampons may be required, but prior experience of their use is not needed.

Regards
Wayne
