Everest in a Day and Half Challenge

this is mountain related, just sort of artificially... Raymond Funnel has set up a Challenge to climb the equivalent height of Everest (8840 m) by doing repetitions of the Westcliff Stairs in JHB, hopefully completing it within 36 hrs. Raymond and his son Jayson have climbed 5 of the 7 Summits, and he has also brought in guys like Shaun Taylor (ultra-marathon runner), Sibusiso Vilane (adventurer and mountaineer), Pamela Buckle "Little MMI" (travel and experience blogger), Lloyd Scott Hudson "MadCA" (7 Summits mountaineer) and several others. Its happening on the 14/15 December so if you are in JHB pop round to the steps and support these guys, its in support of the Sunflower fund so its for a good cause.
