It is satisfying to oneself when achieving photographic results close to the original objective, but it is also encouraging when it is appreciated by others - thanks for the comments.

The light on the droplets and the streaks really make it work! Its so far from the kind of photo I would ever think to take. That's what is nice about these galleries - they teach you to notice stuff. Likely I would be cooking tea in the cave and cussing the rain on a day like this.

Thanks. What intrigued me was the light on the still droplets. I guess when one has an interest in photography, one becomes more aware of these kind of opportunities.

Nice contrast between the still and moving droplets. But most of all, good use of opportunity on a photo day that few would think to try!
