Saw an amazing rockfall on Cleft on the weekend. Would love to get some pics up, but think they are too large. Anyone?

Have a few more pictures etc. Will maybe email to you Driveian.
Yes this was seriously amazing, I cant really describe it other than awe-inspiring.
I was chatting to a friend when heard a faint bang, I new it wasnt normal and looked around to see rocks the size of a few houses falling off cleft. I then grabbed the camera and took a few quick shots.
The amount of dust hanging around was roughly the size of the pyrimid, I suspect that if you were close it would have suffocated you.

Amazing! Our group of 6 were returning from the upper Didima at the time and saw the cloud of dust from where we were on the trail from the Nek to Arendsig. We weren't sure what it was and didn't pay much attention at the time. I caught the end of the dust cloud in a picture taken a bit later.
Frosty Ice, were you in the group that came down the Camel and arrived back at Didima office at about 13h00, just before us?

Hi Tony, no we arrived at around 1:40pm at Cathedral Hotel. We came down Tseke, stayed in the tseke hut overnight and then walked back on the Ribbon falls route to the hotel.
