Lower berg cave hitlist was created by gollum
My Drakensberg hikes have always focused on the escarpment and passes. As a result Lower berg caves were only visited when on route for a mission, and I've only slept in Sherman's Cave and Lower Injasuthi Cave. I'm keen to explore some of these gems. What would you say are the must-do Lower berg caves?

The Southern Berg has some real gems - Tarn Cave and Whyte's Cave would be right at the top of my list!

I would definitely second that. Tarn is fantastic with a lot to explore around the cave area. Brilliant views.

Must see and stay in; Tarn Cave, Whyte's Cave, Gxalingenwa Cave, and Rob's Cave. Tarn and Rob's have the best views whilst Whyte's and Gxalingenwa have waterfalls!
