General cave discussion

Any idea where about the cave was? Even which town you drove through to get there?

As Smurf mentioned, a cave behind a waterfall is not rare in the Berg - and there are tons of undocumented caves too. Any landmarks you recall - large forests, big river crossings etc?

A photo always makes life easier, but I am guessing you don't have any old photos of it that you can scan and upload.

Well that was a whole lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

I went through those photos, and then also used the sites "GPS caves" document and put it into Google Earth.

My sister could recall that it was close to "Stables"... So through all of this searching, the answer is: Zulu Cave.

I know there's a photo in some album of me and my fam standing infront of it. Will go have a look for it

Only gna be able to get to that album in about 2week's time, but will make a point of it for the sake of closing off this chat

If anyone knows the location of Elandshoek cave, Stanley Cave, and Africa Cave, I would be very grateful if they would share.

Map location would be great, GPS co-ords even better.
