Unfortunately one of these reports again...
On the Easter weekend we encountered an unsightly toilet mess, right next to the path, just around the corner from Twins Cave in the Bell Cave direction. No attempt had been made to cover or bury the faeces, and strips of toilet lay stretched across the grass, with the wipe marks very visible and obvious to those walking by. This mess was also very fresh - it was obvious that it had not been there for long. The picture I have attached here is much more discreet than it was in real life. Let me just say it was really disgusting.
I'm always so disappointed at these short-sighted and selfish acts. It really troubles me how people can think this is OK and that they don't seem to care about anyone else.
Please everyone, let us make an effort to maintain discreet and considerate toilet manners in the Berg. Don't do it near water, caves or trails - don't be lazy, take the time to walk somewhere better suited. And please bury it!
