Injisuthi Gate closure

Does Injisuthi camp enforce the gate closure times (6pm closure in winter)? If one arrives at 6:15pm, is the gate padlocked?

I can't remember the exact details and times, but early last year we had a group that were arriving late. Apparantly they keep to the set gate times during the week, but for Friday they keep it open a little longer. They were prepared to have a member of staff on standby for a later opening at an extra cost, but you had to obtain that member's cell number and phone it a little before arriving at the gate while you still had signal. You would need to arrange it with the Injisuthi office at 036-4319000 (trusting that the landline is working at the time).
