Hi all
I've been in New Zealand for a few years and am planning on redoing the Bell Traverse/Roland's etc. fresh off the plane over Easter Weekend. I just saw a recent? photo of Tugela Falls and it looked dry as can be. Has El Nino had a significant affect on rainfall and water availability in the berg and Lesotho this year or was the the maybe just an old one?
Cheers

Hi Colan
The berg is definitely drier than usual at the moment, especially the northern berg.
I've been in Didima, Mnweni and Royal Natal/Sentinel in the last 2 weeks and noticed it.
The Bell Traverse will very likely be dry unless you have rainfall just before Easter, but you'll get water on the escarpment, just might have to drop down into Lesotho a little more than usual
