im struggling to arrange a supply drop on our 4th or 5th day of the DGT, ideally at the top of Organ Pipes or Leslie's Pass. I have received a few replies from commercial companies, but they tend to suggest that I make a drop at day 7 (Bannermans) or 9 (Sani). Im trying to avoid a 7 or 9 day load, hence the desired options of Organ Pipes or Leslies. Any suggestions would be greatly welcome. Khristian

Hi Griff, start date of 26 March, so based on our current plans, top of Organ Pipes around noon of 29th, and Leslie's at end of 30th . Khristian

But, if you can get from Organ Pipes to Leslies in a day and a half you will easily get to Bannermans in 1 day not 2. That would mean 6 days to Bannerman...
And, if you need 2 days to get from Leslies to Bannerman, you will be a long way short of Sani on day 9
I would go for a single resupply at Bannerman on day 6 instead of a resupply at each of Organ Pipes and Sani because 2 resupplies double chance of one going wrong. And they do.

Indeed we could scrub the idea of two drops in favour of one mid trek drop but we would rather not (is a Bannermans drop any more or less risky than another? )

Some of them do know other parts of the Berg and could be used elsewhere but they may have transport issues for some parts of the Berg.
Once you have determined your exact drop-off and dates, you could also see if other hikers are keen to plan their own hiking trip around that and do the re-supply for you.

great idea - we will check... do you know if there is an email address, as they all seem to be individual and per phone number only.

Generally SMS or WhatsApp is the best way to initially contact them since they are in and out of cell phone signal. Some of them do have email but it may not be the fastest or most reliable way. I only have Khumbulani's personal email address which I have sent to you on PM.khristiankowalski wrote: Hi Intrepid,
