Welcome on VE Camwill01
You haven't provided a gear list, so it's kinda difficult to say if you missed anything. However, if you've done a 6-day berg hike before, you probably have all you need for a GT. The one thing you are probably missing is extra food as a GT generally takes more than 6 days (depending on strength and fitness levels). For myself, I've found that I get hungrier towards the latter part of a long hike and I tend to crave sweet things like chocolates. Regarding weather, my summer and winter gear for the berg is exactly the same, as you can encounter any type of weather here.
Enjoy your GT!!!

thanks for the reply!
well see this is my first hike going into the winter season and im not really sure on what to expect, so regarding my previous post, im referring to clothing and any extra bits and bobs that could make a difference,
i
so im also thinking of getting a thermal sleeping bag liner, some thermal shirts and obviously some gloves.
i have the following;
base layers (for sleeping)
socks
sock liners
fleece jacket
softshell
rain + wind jacket
long hike pants
gas cooker
water bottles/bladders
cutlery
sleeping bag
dry bags
poncho
tent
headlamp
toiletries are easy to organise,
food is not an issue either

You can leave the fleece and the soft shell. Those are usually heavy. Rather take a light but good down jacket instead. If it gets too cold, you can wear base layer, shirt, down jacket and the rain coat on top. You can also sleep with the down jacket, if too cold at night. It’s softer and more comfortable.
Take waterproof pants too.

Leave the poncho at home. It becomes bothersome in strong wind.
