Could you try reaching Thabana from SA without going to Sani pass and instead hiking using of the other passes and coming back the same route?

Vergelegen has lots to offer hikers, with multiple passes to chose from. You are looking at a multi-day hike to do it this way though.Could you try reaching Thabana from SA without going to Sani pass and instead hiking using of the other passes and coming back the same route?

ok it seems somebody thougth about it before. i was wondering if could be an issue by walking so much far into lesotho without crossing officially the border.
