How did you get your forum user name?

In about 2003 I wanted something other than my initials, BLK as a general login for various things. Tried different combos of letters in my name then settled on brio. Which is the first two letter of my name and the second and third letters of my middle name.
So I used it to register on this site.

Later I found out it is an actual word in english. Now there is a car with the same name.

This is a great thread.

My wife and I were coming down from Keith Bush camp after a three day hike.

Closer to the Monks Cowl forestry station we were coming down a hill with trekking poles flailing, backpacks bulging looks of determination (or pain) on our faces...you know, looking the part.

In the opposite direction, a couple, day trippers, were slowly coming up the hill toward us. We saw the husband turn to his wife and say, 'here comes the serious tribe'!

Now in my book, I mentioned that I was with Brad my hiking mate when it happened. My wife says it was as mentioned above and it was with her. Mmmm...my memory is fading with age.

Anyhow, the name has kinda stuck.
