Thanks. That's a good price.
Amazing that even a search for Dakota on their website comes up empty handed?

I see if I try to add it to cart it won't let me, looks like a system error that it is still on the website.

Ghaz, That is the one I have. Give me a shout if you want to check it out.
Complain to CUM! It is a good deal so will be worthwhile to make a noise about it !

So the Dakota is about half the weight of the better Garmins, and the only features that are different seem to be the lack of a camera, bluetooth and less memory. However the Dakota weighs half what the others do.

I will most certainly do some complaining trying to get this one!

Amazon has weights for Garmins. If I remember correctly it is about 150g vs 300g.

So fast forwarding a bit from my previous posts, I now have a Dakota 20 which Bush n Bundu ordered for me.

I am trying to modify my GPS track from my recent 7 day hike so that I will have a proper GPS track for the full Giant's Cup Trail in the correct order. My GPS wasn't recording between Swiman Hut and the turn off for the trail on day 1 and somewhere along the line inverting the trail has resulted in some funny line when I load this on Google Earth. It mostly looks ok on Basecamp though.

Can someone tell me how to duplicate the section near Swiman Hut, invert it and place it in the right place so that the track will not just show a straight line through this bit?

Track is attached. Once I am happy with it I will put it in the downloads section.
