This is a pretty insightful visualisation of the popularity of various routes in the Berg (or anywhere, really). Interesting to see different escarpment route choices, passes, etc. Probabaly fairly biased to runners rather than hikers since it's Strava, but for example, I use Strava to record all my hikes as well.

Those are very interesting. It can help when visiting a new area to get started.
Although probably a far smaller database of users because Strava attracts data from many device brands, Suunto also has their own heatmaps. Which obviously you would know Stijn being a Suunto user, but for anyone else interested:

Adrian, I see the Mnweni Marathon circuit is on here, but nothing taking in the whole Mnweni region on the escarpment.
