Sentinel peak .

Hi, We are planning to hike from Sentinel car park up the chain ladders end of September. Can anyone with information regarding the upgrade of the chain ladders and the condition of the road to the car park please advise, it will be greatly appreciated. 

Hi Deon,  I was last in the area at the beginning of may and the road to sentinel car park is only doable in a 4x4 or a high rise SUV if you have the risk appetite for it (Lots of rocks and boulders on the road which need to be driven over.) If you are travelling in a car i would suggest parking at witsieshoek and booking the shuttle to the parking lot. As far as the chain ladders go they are both in working order.
