Rhebok Trail - Free State Berg

Hi all, quick question as we’ve had no luck getting hold of SanParks offices and or a proper response. Has anyone done Rhebok trail lately and would be able to confirm the state of the huts and toilet as well as shower facilities?

We did the trail back in October '22 and the hut and toilets were in good condition. The shower facilities wasn't great, from what I remember. Not sure if anything changed though, as I remember seeing that they were busy adding new route markers along the trail, so perhaps they also did some upgrades to the hut. Also some good braai facilities.

Did it a few weeks ago, the hut (there is only the one) is basic but was clean and the toilets worked (with some encouragement). We didn't use the shower.

Thanks. I know from the last time I did the hike (years ago) the shower was serviceable albeit not the best. Was is it still relatively in the same state?
