Gorge Cave

For those of you that have not visited this cave, it is worth a visit! It is situated very near Spectacle Cave at the bottom end of a narrow gorge that exits into the Pholela River.We overnighted here last weekend, and being Winter, approached it from the downstream side ( Spectacle Cave side). We boulder hopped up the river gorge, passing through a distinctive rock arch over the river.  The cave is situated about 5 metres or so above the river on the left hand side. It sleeps 2 people comfortably and is very protected.  I would not like to attempt it in high Summer though as the amount of water flowing through the gorge would make the approach quite dangerous.
