[Drakensberg GT September 2026] Looking for People / Guides

Hello, a friend and I want to hike the Drakensberg Grand Traverse this September and are looking both for recommendations for a Guide and people that might want to hike with us and form a group.

We will start at Witsishoek 21.09.26 and want to be at Bushmann's Neck on 02.10. (or 03.10).

Three of us are planning a north-south GT, provisionally from 20 to 29 September (9.5 days). That's about 23 to 25km per day (i.e. brisk but not exactly racing). We will not be using a guide. We are looking for one, perhaps two persons to join. Happy to chat.

Where will you be travelling from? I am keen to join, Ive done a Northern traverse and have been looking for an opportunity to do the full DGT ever since.

I can vouch for Paul. He's a lekker ou to hike with. I'm tempted to join.
