Hey guys,
Just wanted to see if anyone has any info on the current ice conditions in Lesotho (Bokong, or the area around Afriski)?
Also any info on what the snow gullies are looking like? Mlambonja couloir, Champagne south gully etc.

Paul Roth posted on the MCSA Whatsapp group that the ice on Sani hasn't properly formed yet and isn't worth the effort.

Went up Ships Prow South last weekend and down Grays pass, we found zero snow on top or in the passes, and a small amount of hard snow right at the top of Ships. Enough to melt for a lekker cup of coffee, but if we 14 hikers we would have used up all the snow.

I don't know if this still holds but historically.. (when I was with MCSA) it was known that Giant's Castle area had the best ice conditions on a consistent basis

The ice at Giants Castle on Sunday 8 th. Passed Gavin Raubenheimer and party on their way to climb on Monday

This past weekend we were up at Afriski - lots of snow in the area.
The icefall in the valley by the bridge just up the road from Oxbow was a stream - no ice.
