Hi all
1st post and first 'real' berg hike.
Drove up from Durban to Ezulwini on Saturday and after lunch headed for the RNNP.
Weather was warm, no wind, brilliant in the sun and cool in the shade. Not exactly the berg winter I packed for.
We decided to do two short hikes since it was already 2pm.
We did the Sunday Falls hike followed by Cascades.
Both a walk in the park.
The waterfall was practically a trickle at Sunday Falls. Cascades was more exciting - drinking from and swimming in the cold berg water (1st time for me).
Pic attached is the waterfall at Cascades.
Having had a taste for the berg, I am looking to do an overnight trip this weekend, if I can find company. A mighty difficult task in my group of friends.
The two trails I'm considering are Sentinal car park, Tugela falls to ifidi cave and Injisuthi camp to Marble Baths.
ps. amazing forum and community

Welcome Nabeel6061,
The Berg is a pretty special and amazing place.
Have a look in the Upcoming hikes thread, there is quite often people looking to do hikes together.
I envy you guys from Durban, much closer to the Berg than us from Gauteng
