I think you would definitely get wet from the waterfall if you were sleeping in that area - especially with it falling from a height on to flat rock, the water would splash pretty far.
I have attached a photo of the approach to the cave and you can see that the overhang is at the top of the ridge ( other side looks into the valley behind Robs Cave)

@Karl: in reply to your question, there is no waterfall or stream running over Black Rock Cave but there are possible signs of water going over the cave roof during high rainfall, maybe just wetting part of the cave floor. The last image is where Whytes Cave is situated, in the left corner below the sand stone cliff. Like Elaine said we call it the Cathederal of caves as there is no other like it in the Berg, with cliffs towering above the sleeping area.....our most favorite cave! Thanks for your kind words
